October 15, 2022, marks the official launch of the gift card system where registrants were mailed their gift cards and can begin using their reloadable cards at Eastern Food Market.

Thanks, are also due to the Muslim Association of Hamilton for providing space for new eligible guests to register with the support of the registration team.

How It All Started
Ramadan 2015 was when we officially launched Barakah Box to the public and let everyone be a part of our project.
Our headquarters started at 221 York Blvd, at the back of the Hamilton Downtown Mosque.
As a way of celebrating our launch, in partnership with A Gift from the Muslim Community, we distributed 60 Ramadan Care Packages (below) to some of those we serve.
